You have provided some very good information. There are soooo many scams out there especially in times when the economy is down. But, I can tell you that not all “make money now!” ads are scams. There really are people that make ten’s of thousands of dollars in a month’s time by working online. Just because there is a start up cost does not make the opportunity a scam. I actually started my business by purchasing a $67 package online. That package came with a very detailed set of video based tutorials that showed me exactly how to get started. I made that back in the first couple weeks and am now making over $3000 per month. Maybe I just got lucky! But, I did do the research before I committed. And, believe me, it was not easy. It is real work.
I agree that you should research these companies. Just do a google search and see what kind of results you get. Also, as stated, look for contact info and try to contact a real person. Don’t fall for “Only 10 more spots available”. I assure you, you could click on those links two weeks from now and there will most likely be “Only 10 more spots available”. This is just hype trying to get you to do it now. Not that the offer may not be real. That is just a marketing method (not one that I use).
Anyway, I agree with the author of the original post in being very careful. But do your research and if you are not comfortable, do not do it. But, there are legitimate offers out there and there are methods to make many thousands of dollars per month. They are real opportunities that you have to put time (and money) into just like anyone who owns their own business does.
To your online success,
Jack
