Pineapple Pizza

This is my husband’s favorite!  He calls them mini pizzas and lights up when he finds out we’re having them for dinner.

Pineapple Pita Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 100% whole grain pita
  • 2 tablespoons pasta sauce
  • 1/4 cup canned pineapple tidbits
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1.  Place the pita on the cookie sheet.

2.  Spread tomato sauce on the pita and add the pineapple.

3.  Top everything off with cheese.

4.  Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  Serve immediately.

Makes 1 serving.  Approximately 325 calories* per serving.
